I am very fortunate to have grown in a surrounding where it is automatic that when a child reaches a particular age, usually at the age of five, he is sent off to school. Off he goes, excited in his cute little school uniform, holding a new bag full of brand-new school supplies, a lunch box full of healthy food in his other hand. Being a full-time student will become this child’s main role from that young age until around his twenties when he will get his university diploma – a tool almost enough to equip him of an assurance for a very bright future. Unfortunately, this is true for a very minimal percentage of communities around the world. We are very much aware that there are communities wherein education is considered a very scarce resource. Due to lack of education, members of such communities fail to get good jobs and in effect live a life way below the acceptable level. This trend continues from one generation to the next – an endless chain of a hard life. As a remedy, various charitable institutions are working to improve the educational system of such communities. Educational materials are produced, information campaigns are held and sometimes, additional funding is generated. One of the said institutions is aptly named Angel Ministries. They use proceeds raised through car donations to produce the funding for their educational campaigns in the poorest parts of the world. They also encourage those who wish to donate a house or property. Angel Ministries through their donate car campaigns are doing their part in improving the future of children all over the world.
